Probably applied to more schools and rejected from more schools than anyone else. Realized I didn't have the right formula. I then repackaged myself to get accepted to my dream schools. If you feel lost or unclear about where to start I am your guy. MBA Journey: Applied Year 1 paid for overpriced consulting to only be waitlisted at Duke. Denied everywhere else. Than retooled my essays, took an MBA Math course from Berkely. Re-applied and was accepted at UVA Darden and Columbia. Had applications out to several other schools but knew I wanted to go to Columbia. Career: Started at Amazon. Corporate life was not for me. Joined a scrappy startup where the company exited to a PE firm. Joined a FinTech company and started writing angel checks. Joined a TPG startup as the first employee.
